New Wave Logistics, the Milton Keynes company, has secured a multi-million pound, three-year storage and distribution contract with leading Japanese electronics manufacturer, Sanyo.
New Wave Logistics, the Milton Keynes company, has secured a multi-million pound, three-year storage and distribution contract with leading Japanese electronics manufacturer, Sanyo. With UK headquarters in Watford, Sanyo is a blue-chip manufacturer of a wide range of consumer electronics products including TVs, video recorders, microwave ovens, projectors, cameras and specialised products. Operating from a dedicated 120,000 sq ft high security warehouse at Brackmills, Northants, New Wave will despatch products to a customer base of 250 locations throughout the UK. New Wave has invested heavily in the new facility. It will also carry out detailed quality control checks of Sanyo products at a 30,000 sq ft satellite warehouse. New Wave will also provide a range of value-added services, including the reworking of goods for mail order companies and it is expected that a direct delivery service from Sanyo's Lowestoft facility will begin in the near future. Sanyo is the latest blue chip electronics company to sign up with New Wave Logistics, which includes Casio, Epson and Pioneer among its client portfolio. |
