As part of continued UK expansion, Poundstretcher Limited has acquired a 55,975 sq ft warehouse facility in Milton Keynes for its new southern distribution depot. The facility is on the Mackenzie Hill Estate in Newport Pagnell and the passing rent is £212,000 a year. The detached facility has 49,394 sq ft of warehouse and two-storey offices of 6,581 sq ft. Leading recruitment consultancy, Blue Arrow, has meanwhile announced the relocation of its catering division from Witan Gate East in Milton Keynes to a dedicated catering branch in new premises on Silbury Boulevard. The branch specialises in temporary and permanent recruitment for the catering industry. The Blue Arrow division provides free training, such as silver service and food hygiene, to enable job seekers to re-align their skills in tune with changing market needs. More than 60% of job seekers registering with Blue Arrow take advantage of the company’s support and training facilities.
