YTKO’s international clientele expanded, with major account gains such as Altitude Software and channel development for IBM in the US.

Local contracts also grew, with companies of all sizes, including Transversal - a $3 million start-up which creates knowledge-based services for websites - and Enhelion, who develop portable micro magnification products.

New staff included Donald Pollock, who joined from Haymarket Publishing, Natacha Wilson, formerly marketing manager at CCC International in Peterborough, and Susan Durman, who joined from MY Healthcare, as Financial Controller.

YTKO’s hunt for more of the best marketing people in the area continues with a recruitment drive, for additional high level resources in its account management and marketing communications departments, starting in local media in early 2001.

Despite recent reports from a local property consultancy, YTKO is remaining at its Portugal Place headquarters; a recent lease negotiated on premises in Regent Street was on behalf of one of its start-up clients. YTKO’s business development services extend to incubation of new companies, as well as sales and marketing through all stages of a company’s growth.

Clients include global blue-chip companies such as Dell Computer Corporation, Prudential and Analog Devices; technology start-ups at the leading edge of technology such as Transversal, OnQ2 and further clients in the UK, Europe and the United States.
