New national league tables put two Cambridge PR agencies in elite UK company.
New national league tables put two Cambridge PR agencies in elite UK company. Cambridgeshire’s top PR agency, Myriad, is now the county’s only representative in the UK’s top 100. Myriad also clinched 28th place in the list of agencies based outside London, with a growth rate of 28 per cent and an annual turnover in excess of £1.5 million. MD Steve Weaving, said: “These results are particularly gratifying as Cambridge is such a centre for growth in hi-tech. We have made significant gains in this area, particularly in business to business, with prestigious clients such as Sentec and ERBI and UK top 10 new media agency Green Cathedral.” Cambridge agency Warman and Bannister has meanwhile been named as the UK’s top performing PR agency over five years - for the second time. It posted a six-fold increase in business over the last five years. Warman and Bannister has experienced 495 per cent growth since 1996, 110 per cent above its nearest rival, and has some of the world’s biggest names on its client list, such as Philips, Nortel Networks and Novartis. MD Simon McKay said: “Our growth reflects the strong contribution we are making to our clients’ business and their bottom line: as we help them to grow, their PR requirements evolve and increase which, ultimately, benefits our business.”
