Cambridgeshire PR agency Myriad is one of the UK’s top 20 healthcare PR consultancies, as ranked by Marketing magazine – a major touchstone for PR agency performance in the UK.
Cambridgeshire PR agency Myriad is one of the UK’s top 20 healthcare PR consultancies, as ranked by Marketing magazine – a major touchstone for PR agency performance in the UK. The accolade has been reinforced by the agency receiving another national healthcare top ranking from PR Week, which said: “Cambridgeshire-based Myriad had an excellent year as fee income climbed 102 per cent.” The agency, which was formed 12 years ago, has built an international reputation for devising and delivering innovative PR strategies to healthcare companies, particularly in the scientific and technology fields. Projects have ranged from national launches for innovative treatments using immune response modifiers to devising and implementing health education campaigns. Myriad’s founder and managing director, Steve Weaving, said: “I am delighted that not only is Myriad ranked as being in the UK’s top 100 for general PR in the tables of both Marketing and PR Week – the only agency in Cambridgeshire to rate so highly – we are also the only top 20 healthcare agency in the whole of East Anglia.” The agency handled an increased level of international work last year, including a campaign for existing client, SSL International - maker of Durex condoms - to promote a global sex survey in 30 countries. Another existing client - 3M Health Care - also increased its spend to include corporate communications on new products such as surgical drapes and gowns, dressings, stethoscopes and respirators.
