Media guru Keith Bishop has teamed up with Melanie Faldo, former wife of golfing legend Nick Faldo to establish an innovative new agency combining PR, event management and celebrity representation. One of the UK’s few multi-service agencies, Faldo Bishop amalgamates the talents of two distinct practitioners with over 30 years‚ experience between them. Bishop, who formed the MCS agency when he quit the BBC in 1993 as head of programme publicity, has an extensive client list of celebrity and corporate clients including Yorkshire Television, BUPA and Nestle as well as stars from Eastenders, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks. His new partner comes with equally impressive credentials. Faldo had her roots in journalism and publishing before moving into PR. She set up Melanie Faldo PR & Marketing 11 years ago and established a portfolio of clients including hotels, sports clubs, award-winning restaurants, stately homes, jewellers, fine artists and fashion houses. Of his ambitions for the new Faldo Bishop Agency, Bishop said: “We hope that the merger of our distinct skills and experience will provide our clients with creative solutions, continuity of care, and most importantly instant access to the media.” Faldo added: “We are also setting up offices in New York and Marbella and in so doing hope to establish Faldo Bishop as an influential and dynamic media house.” Offering a unique mix of skills to high-profile clients including stars from sport and entertainment, Faldo Bishop hopes to not only become a one-stop-shop for the wide ranging needs of many and varied businesses but also influence the way PR is delivered. |
