Cambridge technology developer Sentec, which has entered the Growth & Expansion category of the Awards, has just celebrated its fourth birthday. While it chose a Hallowe’en party at its offices in Hills Road this is no horror story - in fact the company’s track record in its four years has been all treat and no tricks. Starting as a two-man business based in a back room, Sentec is now 25 people with offices in central Cambridge and reports rapid growth. CEO Andrew Howe said: “This company has been built up from the ground with no external investment and its growth is a tribute to everyone involved and the Cambridge environment. “Now we have proved what is possible we plan to grow just as strongly over the next four years.” Sentec is a group of technology developers focused on the development of valuable new products using engineering and science skills. It can develop these products on its own initiative to be exploited through licensing or by creating new companies. Sentec can also develop new products directly for clients, acting as consultants. |
