Munters has acquired its American competitor Glacier-Cor to further strengthen its position in evaporative cooling. Munters has acquired its American competitor Glacier-Cor to further strengthen its position in evaporative cooling.

Glacier-Cor, near Chicago, is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of components in the field, with sales of over $5m in 2001.

It makes components for evaporative cooling, used in climate control systems for various applications including the poultry industry.

Glacier-Cor is a part of Pactiv Corporation, a packaging specialist quoted on the NY exchange.
