AWG in Huntingdon has reached agreement with OFWAT on the licence amendments necessary to implement its planned restructuring. It is also in advanced talks with existing lenders to transfer borrowings to a common set of terms and conditions. Once the transfer is complete, it will raise new debt and make a promised return of capital to shareholders. AWG is in talks with holders of the Group’s US dollar private placements totalling $753 million, and with other finance providers, concerning their participation in the new structure. Total costs of the restructuring amount to £120 million, it added. • Anglian Water has appointed Peterborough agency Connaught Media to produce this year’s annual water tariff leaflets. |
