CamAxys Limited in St Ives, Europe’s leading supplier of environment, health and safety management and quality systems, has been chosen as part of a consortium providing an integrated HR and payroll system for the NHS in England and Wales. The Department of Health awarded the £325m contract to the McKesson-led consortium comprising CamAxys, Oracle, PwC Consulting, and IBM.

The Cambridgeshire company’s software will enable the NHS to record and monitor accidents - including violent assaults - occurring to staff, patients, visitors and other groups such as suppliers.

For any adverse event, its investigation, categorisation, cause, cost, follow-up actions and conclusions can be recorded and managed to closure.
