Anite has acquired CME Systems, the Bedfordshire-based provider of forensic and property management products to the Police Force and which has 16 staff, for about £1m. Anite is a leading supplier of IT systems and services to Local Government and a specialist provider of software and consultancy to Central Government departments and agencies. The business has increased its sales from £7m in the year ending 30 April 1999 to £38m last year, generating operating profits before tax of £2.2m. |
