Commercial agent Carter Jonas has scored another biotech success with the lease of over 3,000 square feet in Endurance House on Vision Park, Cambridge, to laboratory equipment and consumables firm Eppendorf. The company, which specialises in biotech and molecular technology equipment, has moved into the ground floor of Endurance House ahead of the planned expansion by Cambridge Housing Society, which owns and occupies the majority of the building. Ben Sunderland, MD of Eppendorf UK Limited said: “The offices have recently been completely refurbished and have good access to the A14 and the M11. “There is additional space in the building should we want to expand and the readily available car parking is a bonus.” Part of the first floor, just over 4,000 square feet, is still available to rent. Acting on behalf of ARM, Carter Jonas has let an office building close to the superchip designer’s main headquarters on the Peterhouse Technology Park, to Eastern Leade-rship Centre, a client of Redmayne Arnold & Harris. Eastern Leadership Centre has taken a five year lease at a rent reflecting £16 per sq ft. The building was completely refurbished around 18 months ago. The 2,300 square feet of space, on the first floor of the Philips building at Cambridge Business Park has just had a complete refit and, in addition to the suspended ceilings, category II lighting and air conditioning, comes with twelve car parking spaces. The accommodation is predominantly open plan with a couple of partitioned offices. |
