Creative agency Milton Bayer in Northampton has helped the ECB produce a new ‘face’ for English cricket. Creative agency Milton Bayer in Northampton has helped the ECB produce a new ‘face’ for English cricket.

Milton Bayer has designed a media pack aimed at editors of national lifestyle pages and programmes.

It is designed to get England’s top cricketers known as much for their interests and personalities as their sporting prowess on the field.

Milton Bayer won the project in a three-way pitch. It has produced a silver propylene wallet containing 4-page A4 landscape inserts of 10 of England’s top players.

The firm’s joint MD, Don Mammatt, said: “These are some of the best players in the world but they’re rarely seen on pages other than the sports section.

“The profiles reveal sides to their personalities that the public wouldn’t know, like Michael Vaughan’s ideal dinner party guests; George Best, Liz Hurley, Elvis and Tiger Woods. Or that Andrew Flintoff would be a guitarist in a band if he weren’t playing cricket.”
