Tilbrook based New Wave Logistics, part of the global NYK Logistics group, has been appointed by Suzuki GB PLC to take over the storage and delivery of its entire motorbike range.

The deal with Suzuki also covers scooters, off-road vehicles and marine products, which the company also imports.

New Wave Logistics managing director Malcolm Wilson said the deal reflected the hard work of everyone at Milton Keynes and provided further job security as the company continued its planned expansion of the business.

Under the three-year agreement New Wave Logistics stores around 5,000 units, from high performance motorcycles to ATVs (all terrain vehicles), semi-rigid boats and outboard motors, at a high security Milton Keynes warehouse.

New Wave Logistics makes daily deliveries in Suzuki liveried vehicles, which are satellite tracked, to dealers around Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
