Theresa Prevost, MD and founder of Sprite, has been appointed as new head of PR and colleague Natalie Yates will become an account manager in the WAR PR team. The move is the first strategic development since John Wilson took over as CEO of WAR in June.

He said: “Bringing the Sprite team to WAR gives us additional capacity and expertise to expand our PR services across consumer and B2B markets.”

WAR is one of the UK’s top 10 marketing communications agencies outside London, with specialist design, advertising, direct marketing, interactive media and PR teams.

Sprite was formed in May by Prevost, who has previously been an account director at SNS and an account director at Warman and Bannister.

Sprite’s client list includes Philips and Shell, and the firm is active on the regional committee of the Institute of Public Relations.
