New national league tables have ranked Cambridgeshire based Myriad Public Relations as the top PR agency in the East of England.
New national league tables have ranked Cambridgeshire based Myriad Public Relations as the top PR agency in the East of England. The rankings were produced by the industry’s own publication, PR Week, and for the first time have placed Myriad in the top 20 top agencies outside London, ranking it at 17. The agency has also gone up in the overall rankings against allcomers, rising to 66 in the nation’s top 150 from 75 last year. Myriad’s progress up the table is in line with PR Week’s reports that although London-based agencies had a bad 2003, it was a different picture for regional agencies and that there was a “buoyant mood outside the capital.” Managing director, Steve Weaving, said: “We are particularly proud that not only are we the sole Cambridgeshire agency in the top 150 but have also been ranked as the top agency in the East of England as well. “This shows clearly that being based outside the capital is no barrier to success both in recruiting high quality staff and in winning high quality clients. “Our consistent year on year rise up the PR league tables demonstrates the effectiveness of our approach of providing a comprehensive service that delivers measurable results on time and to budget. Our success in the league tables is a tribute to the hard work and professionalism of the agency team.” Myriad works regionally and nationally and operates internationally in more than 30 countries. It numbers some of the region’s top businesses among its clients, including Cambridge-based solicitors Hewitsons, Business Link for Cambridgeshire, the Saffron Walden Herts & Essex Building Society, ERBI and Emap. Its extensive client list also includes Scholl, Durex, 3M UK, the Manufacturing Institute, Tiger Balm and the Haemophilia Society. |
