Emap’s results for the six months ended 30 September showed modest climbs in turnover, operating profit, pre-tax profit, EPS (earnings per share) and dividend per share. Despite the Peterborough publishing giant suffering an initial setback with its acquisition of ABI – the sales leads information business serving the construction market – after the Competition Commission found it to be anti-competitive, it is determined to continue with its number one priority – growth. Emap chief executive, Tom Moloney, said: “We have delivered several new launches and acquisitions, which will make a growing contribution in future years. “We are on track for the current financial year, and we look forward to delivering good growth into the future.”
