One of the UK’s leading providers of digital outside broadcast facilities, High Wycombe-based Telegenic Ltd, has been sold to the exisiting management team for undisclosed sum.
One of the UK’s leading providers of digital outside broadcast facilities, High Wycombe-based Telegenic Ltd, has been sold to the exisiting management team for undisclosed sum. Formed in 1980 Telegenic now operates in the highly specialised field of sports outside broadcasting, specialising in providing facilities for Sky and other TV broadcasters at events including rugby internationals at Twickenham and Premiership football matches. The corporate finance team at Cambridge law firm, Hewitsons, acted for the Telegenic shareholders, with tax advice provided by Peters Elworthy & Moore of Cambridge. Barclays Bank provided the debt finance for the transaction and City firm Shadbolt & Co acted for the management team. |
