It is ramping up headcount in senior positions and is set to launch a new, spin-off business. Over the past decade, Xennia has built a global reputation for technical leadership in emerging industrial inkjet applications. Increasingly it has developed and supplied fully integrated, customised inkjet solutions, including printers, software and fluids. The company has created many new applications for customers in sectors as diverse as packaging, beverages, consumer goods, electronics, displays, healthcare and automotive. Unlike most integrators, Xennia’s unique slant is that chemistry is understood to be the key to unlocking the full potential of inkjet. Its new product supply subsidiary. XenJet, will leverage Xennia’s product development expertise, know how and intellectual property to provide a range of print engines, production printers and inks, as well as a suite of development tools for applications chemists and engineers. As part of its growth plans, Xennia has appointed John Corrall and Tracey Stephens to its board. Corrall, previously with Xaar, Video-Jet and Domino, becomes engineering and production director while Stephens – previously with HP and Plastic Logic – joins as business development director.
