In a deal valued at more than $1m (£526k), four of the top subsidiaries of Chinese oil industry giant Sinopec Corporation have adopted engineering IT solutions from AVEVA in Cambridge.
In a deal valued at more than $1m (£526k), four of the top subsidiaries of Chinese oil industry giant Sinopec Corporation have adopted engineering IT solutions from AVEVA in Cambridge. Sinopec is China’s largest producer and marketer of oil products, the country’s leading supplier of major petrochemical products and the second largest crude oil producer in China. The subsidiaries – Sinopec Engineering Incorporation, Sinopec Shanghai Engineering Corporation, Sinopec Luoyang Petrochemical Engineering Corporation, and the Sinopec Ningbo Engineering Corporation – have signed contracts for a selection of AVEVA’s VANTAGE solutions. Richard Longdon, CEO, AVEVA group, said: “AVEVA makes sure that plant information is always accessible when its clients need it, regardless of what the unfolding IT revolution may confront them with. Sinopec can engineer into the future with confidence.” |
