dB Broadcast, a Cambs-based systems integrator, has won a contract to supply, install, integrate and commission a new state-of-the-art transmission facility at Time Warner company TENIL in London. The new centre will be operational during 2005 and enable TENIL (Turner Entertainment Networks International Ltd) to bring the transmission of its entire range of services in-house. TENIL broadcasts multiple networks covering Europe, the Middle East and Africa from London and the service includes brands such as Cartoon Network, Boomerang, Toonami and TCM (Turner Classic Movies). The new transmission facility will also enable TENIL to significantly increase the number of output channels. It is believed to be the most advanced playout system in Europe.
