KPMG reports growth

KPMG LLP (UK), the professional services firm, has reported revenue growth of 20 per cent for 2005 and made record bonus pay-outs. KPMG LLP (UK), the professional services firm, has reported revenue growth of 20 per cent for 2005 and made record bonus pay-outs.

Turnover in the year to September 30 rose to £1.28 billion (2004: £1.07 bn).

Robert Ferguson, senior partner of KPMG’s Cambridge office, said: “This makes KPMG the fastest growing ‘Big Four’ firm in the UK in 2005. Locally we have had an amazing year.”

Ninety-three percent of the FTSE 100 companies have been KPMG clients during the year and KPMG has grown its overall market share among the ‘Big Four’. The year also saw KPMG independently recognised with 30 major awards.

KPMG is continuing its strategy of growth for the year ahead with the appointment of 29 new partners; 88 new directors have also been appointed.

Locally, tax partner Helen Sant has returned to the Cambridge office following a six month sabbatical with the Treasury.
