Netinvest Ltd, the Great Shelford-based owner of Netbanx, one of the UK’s leading independent payment service providers, has been bought from the Transact Group by NETELLER Plc for £12.36m.
Netinvest Ltd, the Great Shelford-based owner of Netbanx, one of the UK’s leading independent payment service providers, has been bought from the Transact Group by NETELLER Plc for £12.36m. NETELLER said the cash transaction would not lead to any job losses though it would relocate within the Cambridge area within the next six months. The Netbanx name is expected to remain under a new logo. Netbanx was founded in 1996 and employs 17 people. It processes approximately £10m of credit card payments each month and has in excess of 1,500 merchants, including Royal & Sun Alliance, npower and Companies House.
