Ryanair, which has just launched eight new routes from Stansted Airport, has posted record half-year profits of £160m – an 18 per cent year-on-year increase.
Ryanair, which has just launched eight new routes from Stansted Airport, has posted record half-year profits of £160m – an 18 per cent year-on-year increase. Traffic grew by 29 per cent to 18m passengers, yields increased by 3 per cent and as a result total revenues rose by 33 per cent to £639.2m. Unit costs increased by 8 per cent (excluding fuel they fell by 7 per cent) as fuel costs rose by 108 per cent.
