It has been another year of innovation for Business Weekly. It has been another year of innovation for Business Weekly. Our digital newspaper – online at www.businessweekly.co.uk – is a first for the B2B industry anywhere in the world.

In association with UK Trade & Investment, Business Weekly has also this year published the first ever supplement on East of England trade with the Middle East, in addition to our supplements on India, China, the United States and Europe.

The frontiers will be pushed back even further in 2006 with even more improvements to the website and digital newspaper and groundbreaking online initiatives in property, biotech and international trade.

Business Weekly has also contracted with UK Trade & Investment to produce an inaugural supplement on trade opportunities in South America as well as the first ever book produced on the prowess of UK and East of England companies in world energy and power markets, including a focus on renewables (See back page).

Business Weekly’s newly-expanded database for our printed version and the growing international reach via the website – attracting 2m hits a month – makes us the leading one stop resource for globally significant news involving East of England organisations in the fields of B2B, research and academia.

That’s why cutting edge tech companies and Universities in California, Asia and elsewhere are contributing to record levels of subscriptions.

Business Weekly has made the world a smaller and more lucrative trading place for East of England businesses, securing and creating jobs, helping the UK win new investment and raising the profile of the region on a world stage.

We look forward to broadening and accelerating success for the region once again in 2006. In the meantime have a great Christmas and New year and thank you for contributing to a record year for Business Weekly.

o As has been the practice for 16 years, Business Weekly is making a donation to charity in lieu of sending festive cards.
