Law firm Eversheds in Norwich has been appointed key provider of legal services by May Gurney, one of the UK’s leading providers of integrated construction services, following a competitive tender. Law firm Eversheds in Norwich has been appointed key provider of legal services by May Gurney, one of the UK’s leading providers of integrated construction services, following a competitive tender.

Eversheds will provide May Gurney with a full range of legal advice, in areas including employment, commercial and corporate law as well as construction and real estate.

The Eversheds team advising May Gurney will be led out of the firm’s Norwich office, which already acts for some of the most prestigious companies in the region and across Europe.

Eversheds has further strengthened its teams in the East of England with the appointment of four trainee solicitors in Cambridge, three in Ipswich and two in Norwich.

Lynsey Gilbert, David Magill, Sophie Barr and Clare Hedges have joined Eversheds in Cambridge. Gilbert and Magill become part of the real estate practice, Lynsey in the developers and David in the occupiers groups. Barr joins the commercial practice and Hedges the human resources practice as part of the education team.

Matthew Francis, Edward Heaton and Sarah Stimson are new at Eversheds in Ipswich. Francis joins the construction practice, while Heaton and Stimson will both be working on commercial projects.

Catherine Howells and Flora McCabe have joined Eversheds in Norwich. Both will be part of the real estate practice, Howells with the residential developers group and McCabe in real estate litigation.
