Lloyds TSB Corporate won two major awards, being crowned both Bank of the Year and Adviser of the Year at the 2006 Financial Directors’ Excellence Awards – and its local teams in Cambridge, Peterborough, Norwich, Ipswich and Chelmsford contributed by notching record referrals for new business.
Lloyds TSB Corporate won two major awards, being crowned both Bank of the Year and Adviser of the Year at the 2006 Financial Directors’ Excellence Awards – and its local teams in Cambridge, Peterborough, Norwich, Ipswich and Chelmsford contributed by notching record referrals for new business. Lloyds TSB Corporate won the Bank of the Year award for the second year in a row, after scooping the prize at the inaugural event but the Corporate Adviser of the Year 2006 title caused a major surprise. It is usually awarded to an accountancy firm but the bank’s solutions-based app-roach swayed the judges at an event hosted by the CBI and Real Finance magazine. The Awards are based on Real Finance’s 2006 ‘Satisfaction Survey’, in which more than 500 Financial Directors with leading companies rated their levels of satisfaction with different types of suppliers. Steve Woolridge, relationship director at Lloyds TSB Corporate, said: “Our East of England teams had an outstanding 2005 and are beating targets again in 2006 as the region continues to flourish. “Every one of our major centres locally – Cambridge, Peterborough, Chelmsford, Norwich and Ipswich – is helping the region achieve strong economic performance and we are funding and supporting company expansion and major deals that are driving this growth.”
