Cambridge-based venture capitalist, Prelude Ventures, has received a further £2.5m from its investment in Alphamosaic, the chip designer acquired by Broadcom for £68.6m in 2004.
Cambridge-based venture capitalist, Prelude Ventures, has received a further £2.5m from its investment in Alphamosaic, the chip designer acquired by Broadcom for £68.6m in 2004. The pay out brings the total realised by Prelude from Alphamosaic to £16.1m, representing a multiple of 3.2 on its original investment cost of £5.1m. The payment was part of the original consideration, which was subject to an 18 month escrow agreement due to be released in March 2006. |
