TTPCom in Melbourn has won a major contract with its long time US cellular phones collaborator Analog Devices Inc (ADI) to transfer engineering resources and related assets associated with TTPCom’s GSM/GPRS-EDGE modem software specifically for use on ADI products.
TTPCom in Melbourn has won a major contract with its long time US cellular phones collaborator Analog Devices Inc (ADI) to transfer engineering resources and related assets associated with TTPCom’s GSM/GPRS-EDGE modem software specifically for use on ADI products. The agreement grants ADI the right to directly distribute TTPCom’s modem software for use on ADI SoftFone baseband products. It also provides development rights for AJAR, TTPCom’s advanced applications platform. News of the agreement triggered a 16.67 per cent rise in the share price of TTPCom’s parent firm, TTP Communications. The stock increased 2.25 pence to 15.75 pence a share.
