Black Pig, the award-winning full service creative agency, understands the importance of communication and in its 10 year history has lent its services to numerous household names including HSBC, the Arts Council and Trading Standards. Black Pig, the award-winning full service creative agency, understands the importance of communication and in its 10 year history has lent its services to numerous household names including HSBC, the Arts Council and Trading Standards.

It can now add Business Weekly to its fan base after developing its new website.

The recently launched site features the latest in web technology and is designed to be easy to navigate to improve the user experience which in turn is hoped to generate even more visitors than the current 2m a month.

The site continues to feature the subscription service that enables Business Weekly readers to access news archives and receive up to date news by email in line with increased appetite for ‘on demand’ services.

David Higgins, Black Pig’s client director said: "By transferring elements of the publication, in content and design, to the website we’ve achieved a synergy between the different media which enables the site to keep on brand whilst maintaining its functionality."

The launch of the new site sees the arrival of the Business Bulletin, a feature that allows non-subscribers to sign up for the Business Weekly news alert and receive notifications of relevant news stories.

Black Pig has also designed a brand new masthead to accompany the website and it is hoped the new banner will adorn Business Weekly’s printed medium shortly. The new masthead projects the qualities of the previous marque with a sleek and modern twist.

Black Pig’s tireless efforts to provide ‘brand promises’ for its growing client list has meant that the staff base has had to grow, too; over the past 16 months alone Black Pig has appointed 14 new members to the team. The company continues to build upon its status as one of the top 100 award-winning full service agencies in the UK.

David Higgins says: "We’re flattered to be trusted by such an internationally influential B2B publication to develop and improve its online thrust.

"While BW’s reach is global, our selection as its web partner demonstrates Business Weekly’s commitment to growing through partnership with other East of England companies as well as influencers elsewhere in the world."
