Search company, Linguamatics has appointed software entrepreneur John Brimacombe as executive chairman. Mr Brimacombe has a track record of founding and building successful software businesses in multiple market areas, notably financial services software and mobile entertainment, with companies such as Jobstream Group plc and Mforma Group Inc. (now Hands-On Mobile, Inc.). Linguamatics' natural language processing (NLP) technology allows users to mine large collections of documents, extracting relevant facts and relationships from content such as scientific papers, news feeds, patent documents, or business reports. It was founded in 2001.
