The Royal Bank of Scotland has provided Norfolk food importer Lakeside Food Group with a new financing structure to allow the company to continue its expansion. Established in 1989 by Michael Masters and Mark Taylor, Lakeside Food Group has offices in Norfolk, Thailand, Budapest and Holland.

The company utilises its manufacturing and marketing experience to procure value added food products from around the world through key supply contracts in Asia, South America and Eastern Europe. Its products are sold in the UK and EU, although more recently it has secured a number of global sales opportunities.

The Royal Bank of Scotland team, led by corporate director Bob Annable, worked with Lakeside to provide a funding structure specifically designed to deal with the company’s importing requirements and provide facilities to accommodate the anticipated growth.
