Cambridge-based Wax info, a developer of content management software, is entering the Chinese market.
The company has announced a strategic alliance with Shanghai Xindi Computer in China and Global Systems of Yokohama, Japan to market the Japanese version of ActiveLibrary 4.0 to Japanese companies operating in China. Wax info said the move would extend its international market reach to target approximately 100,000 Japanese firms operating in China, including over 10,000 firms in Shanghai around the headquarters of Xindi Computer Co. Global Systems and Xindi Computer are sister companies specialising in the provision of development services to Japanese firms operating in China. Mr Uno, CEO of Global Systems, said, "With the ever-growing need to protect intellectual property rights, there is a great need for secure knowledge management products in China."
