Greene King announces strong first half results

Pub operator Greene King has announced a strong first half year with revenue and operating profit up 16 and 7 per cent, respectively. “This has been another very strong first half year, with encouraging organic growth and profit conversion. We have benefited from our acquisition of Belhaven, which is proving a great addition to Greene King,” said Rooney Anand, chief executive.
