Record profits for May Gurney

Norwich-based construction services firm, May Gurney has announced record £7.1m first half earnings. It reported H1 revenues of £199.6m, up 12 per cent and pretax profit of £6.6m, up 20 per cent from £5.5m last year A secure order book of over £900m containing contracts with West Sussex County Council, Network Rail and Essex and Suffolk Water provide a healthy future, the firm said.
