Norwegian, Scandinavia’s largest low cost carrier, has started a new route from London Stansted to Kristiansand in the south of Norway. The route is being flown three times weekly. The Mayor of Kristiansand officially opened the route and 140 passengers travelled on the first flight from Kristiansand to London. CEO Bjorn Kjos says: “We are very happy to finally put London- Kristiansand on our network. “The southern region of Norway is one of the most beautiful areas in Norway, and with direct flights at very low fares we hope to welcome a lot of visitors to Kristiansand.” Southern Norway invites you to enjoy a unique holiday experience. The beautiful coastline of the South (or Soerlandet) consists of one long chain of idyllic islands and skerries. The region has the highest number of hours of sunshine in Norway with sightseeing boats spending the long summer nights cruising past a backdrop of white houses, white sails and white gulls. Prices start at EUR 37, including taxes and fees. |
