Fayrewood to relocate its Luton head office

Luton-based computer products distributor, Fayrewood has announced it anticipates the closure and relocation of its Luton head office and the disposal of its largest business to Italian firm Esprinet for £36m. The firm, which expects to relocate its headquarters to Birmingham, received £32.6m for Spain's biggest computer hardware wholesaler, UMD with the balance to be paid in six months subject to adjustments.

Fayrewood also said its CEO and finance director, Paul Griffiths and David Gurr have stepped down, but will continue to assist the firm in a consultancy capacity.
