AT Communications in Harlow has been awarded a multi-million pound, two-year contract to provide services to grocery retailer, Somerfield.
The IP voice and data managed service contract is with virtual network operator Vanco and covers the entire Somerfield estate across 886 UK sites, which includes 873 Somerfield stores, 11 depot locations, and Somerfield's headquarters in Bristol. The contract, the precise value of which remains undisclosed, is reportedly ATC's largest network services win to date and includes the provision of voice minutes and wholesale line rental, as well as equipment maintenance and project management. Group chief executive, Alex Tupman said: "This is a significant contract as we focus on the top end of the market, providing bundled solutions. "It adds further earnings visibility to the group and illustrates the strength of the proposition that the Group has developed through strategic acquisitions."
