The Luton based airline easyJet will take delivery of an additional 12 aircraft by the summer and plans to grow an additional 15 per cent in 2007. It has announced the introduction of 30 new routes so far this year. While none of these is from the operator’s secondary base at Stansted, it says it remains committed to its hub there and is looking at opportunities to develop its offering there. easyJet estimates that more than 20 per cent of its passengers are business travellers and says it has been adapting its service to suit their needs. “During 2007 we plan to announce more innovations and developments designed to make life easier for the business passenger,” said a company spokesperson. |
