The first 2007 regional meeting of the Quoted Company Alliance (QCA) will discuss the impact of regulatory changes on Small Quoted Companies.
The afternoon meeting, to be held on Thursday March 1 at Chippenham Lodge near Ely, will focus on many new pieces of legislation and regulation and the impact they will have on companies and their directors. As well as the Companies Act changes, there are revisions to the AIM rules, amendments to the Prospective Directive and the extension of the Takeover Directive regime to AIM companies. QCA is a 10-year-old not for profit organisation dedicated to fighting for the interests of the smaller quoted company. Although based in London, QCA has established five regional forums and in the Eastern region NW Brown Group Limited and KPMG LLP assist the QCA team in arranging the meetings. John Goodger of the NW Brown Group said: “Whilst the majority of attendees at the regional meetings are directors of smaller quoted companies, unquoted company directors who are considering an AIM IPO are welcome to attend and learn about many of the issues affecting the quoted company arena.” • For further information on the QCA Regional Forum meeting on March 1, contact John Goodger on tel: 07836 554740 or by email: This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it For further information about QCA visit www.quotedcompaniesalliance.co.uk |
