Royston-based Episys has been selected by luxury grocer Fortnum & Mason to provide its signage during a £24m refurbishment of its London store on Piccadilly.
Fortnum & Mason, celebrating its 300 year anniversary this year, has contracted Episys to deliver a complete signage solution for the store's food hall, in a deal for an undisclosed sum. The first phase of the deal will see Episys provide a complete signage system for the newly expanded food hall including software, printers and labels. During the second phase, the entire store, including the back office will be integrated with the system. On selecting Episys to provide signage for Fortnum & Mason, operations director, Ian Weston said: "We felt that Episys was offering the solution that best suited our requirements, and the retail enterprise suite has delivered us exactly what we need in terms of a ticketing solution for Fortnum & Mason" Episys provides complete, integrated signage to the retail, manufacturing, logistics, chemical, healthcare and the public service sector industries. Fortnum & Mason has been bringing the world's best food to Piccadilly for 300 years, and has been renovating its historic store in celebration. “The most prestigious grocer in the world needs quality signage that complements their reputation. By integrating the sales floor and back office to create and deliver signage, we have also developed a solution that saves time, guarantees signage consistency and gives Fortnum’s greater control over the final product” said Episys' marketing director, Peter Lewis. |
