Michael Lynch wins entrepreneurial award |

CEO and founder of Cambridge's Autonomy, Dr Michael Lynch has been named ‘Technology Entrepreneur of the Year’ by the UK Technology Innovation and Growth Forum in its ninth annual awards.
The forum cited the success of Autonomy, founded by Lynch in 1996, which has become a spearhead in the meaning-based computing movement. The firm, while overseen by Lynch acquired data management rival in 2005 for $500m and reported a market cap of over $2.5bn in 2006. |
