| The Norfolk-based construction company, May Gurney, has paid £5.15 million in cash for the mechanical and electrical specialist, AC Chesters & Son, in Staffordshire. The company said that the acquisition of Chesters, which made £0.5m on revenues of £4.1m last year, enhanced its “expertise in the water utilities sector and its prospects for the next regulatory review period.” |
