Robert Williams & Company, chartered accountants based in Huntingdon, is to merge with Ensors in early April, becoming the Ensors Huntingdon office. Bob Williams, founding partner of Robert Williams & Company, will join the Ensors partnership and all 10 staff will stay on.

Managing partner of Ensors, Ian Brookman, said “Having recently expanded our operations to Cambridge, this move will only strengthen our offering to clients in the west of the region.

“We share a number of fundamental synergies with Robert Williams & Company; both firms pride themselves on working closely with clients, really getting to understand their goals and taking the time to help them achieve them.”

Bob Williams added: “I see it as a beneficial move for clients and staff alike. Our clients will now have access to Ensors’ specialist services and our staff will have greater career and development opportunities.”

Ensors is a 12 partner firm with five offices throughout the region – Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge, Haverhill, Ipswich and Saxmundham. It has been operating for more than 100 years. Robert Williams & Company was established in 1989.
