The operator of the largest hot melt manufacturing plant in Europe, Beardow Adams, has announced that it has acquired the business assets of Northants-based Fentac Adhesives.
The purchase, for an undisclosed amount, will comprise all of Fentac’s business assets. Fentac, which turned over around £1 million last year, according to Stuart Wetherell, the marketing director at Beardow Adams, will wind down its operations in Wellingborough following the acquisition, with production at the site coming to a halt with immediate effect. Four employees from Fentac’s sales team will transfer to Beardow’s operation in Milton Keynes, while the remaining 12 will not be part of the move. |
