Aquaterra Energy has completed the move into its new Norwich headq-uarters, imposed on the Norfolk start-up due to its phenomenal success. The move to purpose-built two-storey premises adjacent to Norwich International Airport is the latest major boost for the expanding offshore engineering business, which launched just 18 months ago and announced sales of more than £6m in its first 12 months’ trading. The company began with only a handful of staff but more than 25 will now be located at the new headquarters. “The business has developed and expanded so quickly that we have outgrown our first offices,” said Aquaterra director Gary Hackett. Aquaterra provides pro-ducts and services to offshore operators in more than 10 countries worldwide and designed the Sea Swift low-cost platform system for marginal field development. |
