Hemel Hempsted-based Eckoh has announced a significant extension to the service it provides for Parcelforce regarding its parcel redelivery operation, adding that it expected to manage over 1m calls on the company's behalf in 2007.
The automated telecomms specialist said that the enhanced service would see Eckoh take responsibility for Parcelforce Worldwide's entire end-to-end redeliveries support service, including management of the front end web interface, as well as co-ordinating customer instructions with Parcelforce Worldwide's delivery depots and customer contact centres. The enhanced service would build upon the automated speech recognition solution, developed by Eckoh with telecomms giant BT, which was implemented by Parcelforce earlier in the year, Eckoh said. |
