Herts-based SoC design firm, Imagination Technologies has announced lower pre-tax losses for the full year, but didn't manage April's prediction of breaking even in the second half.
Imagination said that it had cut pre-tax losses to £2.3m for the year to the end of March, from £6.9m for 2006, on the back of a 36 per cent increase in revenues to £48.1m, adding that H2 results brought the firm close to profitability. The System-on-chip IP specialist, which signed deals with Intel and TI during the year, said that future volume ramp-ups in partner chip shipments and the strong position of its PURE Digital radio business gave it confidence of further progress during the year. |
