St Albans-based Premier Foods has agreed the sale of Erin Foods to Maiden Acquisition Company for an undisclosed amount, satisfying the undertaking given by Premier to the Competition Authority in the Republic of Ireland to dispose of the Erin brand.
As permitted by the Competition Authority, Premier has obtained a licence to use the Erin brand on soup products. The book value of the gross assets of Erin Foods was €2.5m (£1.7m) at 30 July 2006. |
