Adcock Group and Toshiba have joined forces to drive new state-of-the art technology into the UK workplace designed to deliver maximum power and energy savings for client companies.
And Adcock has ensured that the clean tech revolution stands the test of time by installing the new-generation Toshiba VRF R410A air conditioning system in its in-house Cambridge training academy. Current and future crops of Adcock trainee engineers are now able to cut their teeth on the system in a dress rehearsal for real-life customer installations. The new Toshiba series uses the energy-efficient, non-ozone depleting R410A refrigerant. Each module of the outdoor units at the heart of the system contains two inverter-driven compressors with low starting currents – cutting power consumption by 30 per cent. The outdoor condensing unit can also be set to night mode, which reduces noise levels. |
